About Metro One
Our company was founded in Columbia, South Carolina, and has since expanded. In 2024 we began a merger with Smart Transportation, and also acquired a satellite office near Charleston as a result. This service area expansion allows us access to a much wider range of resources, including a larger pool of wheelchair driver hires to support our clients. We serve all of South Carolina for all of their NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) needs.

Metro One recently acquired Smart Transportation, which allowed us to be able to offer Ambulatory transportation for those clients who are able to walk and sit comfortably. This expansion of our services allowed us to help more of clients to get around smoothly.
Wheelchair

As part of our recent aquisition, Metro One now offers wheelchair-accessible transportation for clients who need additional mobility support. This expansion includes vehicles equipped with lifts and ramps, helping us better serve the full range of NEMT needs across South Carolina.

Metro One can transport patients anywhere in South Carolina, as well as to surrounding states as needed for their medical appointments and services.
